Clinical Specialties - Robotic Surgery
Our Robotic Specialists & Procedures Performed at the San
Remarkable leaders in their field
The San’s robotic surgical team is second-to-none. Across each clinical specialty where da Vinci robotic surgery is available we have appointed a senior, highly skilled and qualified expert to lead the robotic surgical team.
The San’s robotic surgery program offers a wide range of procedures that combines more than 15 robotically-trained surgeons working across five different specialties, supported in many cases by multidisciplinary cancer teams with specialists in each area. Our teams have expertise in over 20 robotic procedures, including surgery for many cancer-related conditions and several of the most complex types of cases where precision is paramount within the gynaecological, colorectal, upper gastrointestinal (including liver and pancreas), urological, cardiothoracic and other specialty areas.
