Teddy Bears Picnic 2026!

Last Friday, the Village Green came alive with laughter, bubbles and plenty of teddy bears as past and present San babies and their families gathered for the annual Teddy Bears Picnic.

The much-loved event brought together hundreds of families connected to the San, giving many the opportunity to reunite with the midwives and doctors who supported them through some of life’s most special moments.

Families enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of entertainment and activities, including visits from San Bear, performances by the Tiptoe Giants, story time with Missy, face painting, the bubble house and soft play.

The Teddy Bears Picnic continues to be a cherished tradition for many families, bringing together generations of San babies while celebrating the lasting relationships formed at the Hospital.
