San baby booties for Easter

Six talented San Help Team Volunteers have shown More Care by knitting 40 pairs of baby booties to give to Easter born babies over the weekend.

The booties, which are an annual tradition, are made from wool and knitted to represent a bunny with ears and a tail.

Four pairs of the knitted booties were tested out by newborns this morning during the annual San Easter baby photoshoot.

All babies born over the Easter period will be given a pair of the booties on Easter Sunday in celebration of the birth of new life.
