The San donates $10,000 to BCNA

Sydney Adventist Hospital, winner of Medline’s Pink Glove Dance competition for breast cancer awareness, donated $10,000 prize money to the Breast Cancer Network Australia this morning.

The Pink Glove Dance competition is designed to engage organisations in the healthcare industry in cancer awareness initiatives. To participate in the competition the San had to produce a 90 second dancing video clip. More than 300 San staff and community got involved for the good caused.

The winner was determined by a system of online public voting. The San beat 10 other Hospitals and attracted more than 10,000 votes.
The San donated the prize money to independent charity Breast Cancer Network Australia recognising the free support and information they provide to those affected by breast cancer.
San CEO Dr Leon Clark and GM Mr Brett Goods received prize money from Medline Manager Brian Palmer. BCNA Community Liaison volunteer Carol Walker accepted the donation on behalf of BCNA.
