Rational Investigation of the thyroid nodule and when to refer
Dr Andrew Parasyn MBBS FRACS
Dr Parasyn is a specialist surgeon who dedicates himself to the management of thyroid and parathyroid disease, breast cancer, melanoma, sarcoma, saliva gland and advanced head and neck skin cancer. He performs over 500 operations per year both in the public and private hospital. He currently practices at Sydney Adventist Hospital and is part of the Northern Surgical Oncology group.
Prof Stan Sidhu PhD FRACS
Prof Sidhu is a highly experienced endocrine surgeon specialising in minimally invasive thyroid surgery, parathyroid and adrenal surgery within the Northern Sydney and Central Coast Area Health Service. He is also Professor of the University of Sydney Endocrine Surgical Unit and Head of Department, Endocrine Surgery at Sydney Adventist Hospital.
Dr Jeremy Hoang MBBS (Syd) FRACP FAANMS DDU
Dr Hoang is a dual trained endocrinologist and nuclear medicine specialist. Dr Hoang’s endocrine practice encompasses all aspects of diabetes and general endocrinology. He has a particular interest in managing thyroid disorders.
Prof Steven Boyages MBBS DDU FRACP FAFPHM PhD
Prof Boyages is an endocrinologist and public health physician, notable for being the first endocrinologist qualified in ultrasonography. He maintains an active clinical practice with special expertise in thyroid disorders, diabetes, and general endocrinology. Professor Boyages is a Clinical Professor at The University of Sydney. Additionally, he serves as the Head of the Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology at Sydney Adventist Hospital.
