Good Nutrition for Growing Children: lunchboxes, fussy eaters and family meals

This presentation will cover some of the most important and up-to-date nutrition information for growing children. This will include how to pack a healthy and delicious lunch box, how to enjoy family meals, some basic strategies for dealing with fussy eating, as well as some new research about nutrition, growth and development.
Monique Heller is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, having graduated from the Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Sydney in 2017. Monique has a passion for preventing the development of chronic diseases by introducing principles of good nutrition from a young age.

The ABCs of ENT: Common Ear, Nose and Throat issues that affect your child's future

A/Prof Payal Mukherjee is an adult and paediatric ear, nose and throat surgeon with special skills in advanced ear surgery. Following her ENT training in Sydney, she attained further subspecialty post-fellowship training in otology, Cochlear implantation and lateral skull base surgery in Oxford and London.

Ratbag Sleeping: good sleep practices, screen time and obstructive sleep apnoea

Dr Hugh Allen is a Paediatrician at The Children’s Sleep Disorder Unit, Sydney Adventist Hospital. His research interests include Asthma and Sleep Medicine, management of acute asthma, and recurrent hospitalisation as well as the use of CPAP, chronic lung disease and chronic cough.
