Acute Care Transition Course

Sydney Adventist Hospital (SAH), fondly known as 'the San', is NSWs largest acute-care private hospital with over 750 beds, 23 operating theatre and endoscopy suites, 3 cardiac catheterisation laboratories, 24x7 Emergency department, intensive care and coronary care units, renal dialysis unit, rehabilitation and sleep studies units, and a leading multi-disciplinary Integrated Cancer Centre.

Acute Care Transition Course

The Acute Care Transition Course is aimed at Registered and Enrolled Nurses (medication) wishing to advance their theoretical knowledge and clinical practice from the non-acute care setting to acute care.

The 10 day course runs over 3 weeks and consists of self-directed learning packages, lectures, simulation activities and clinical practice.
