What You Should Bring to Hospital
- Antenatal Card (Hand this to the Delivery Suite Midwives)
- Medicare card and any other health care cards and pension numbers
- Current medications (in their original containers) and prescriptions, including repeat forms. These should be given to nursing staff to be administered during your stay
- Sleepwear, dressing gown and slippers
- Casual day wear including maternity bras
- Personal toiletries including sanitary pads
- Clothes for your baby to wear home (S/He will be provided with clothes while in hospital)
- Small amount of change for newspapers and other small purchases
- Payment for estimate of gap between fund benefits and hospital fees, or total estimated costs of hospitalisation if no fund cover

- Reading material and / or something else to do
- Disposable nappies
You will be provided with one packet of 36 disposable nappies only. Once these are used, you will need to purchase your own disposable nappies.
We Advise You Not To Bring:
- Unnecessary clothing
- Valuables including jewellery and large sums of money
Please note:
- A small lockable cupboard is provided for use in each room
- Sydney Adventist Hospital does not accept liability for lost or damaged personal items or valuables
- You should label your personal belongings clearly so they can be easily located if misplaced
