Remember Your Loved One - Memorial Donations
A gift to Sydney Adventist Hospital Foundation in memory of a loved one will enable you to provide much needed support for the Hospital. All gifts to the Foundation can be directed to the department or project you would like to assist, for example the Cancer Ward, Jacaranda Lodge, Cardiac Ward, Renal Dialysis Ward, or the department of your choice.
Following receipt of your donation, the Foundation will send a letter of condolence to the family of the person you have donated in memory of, notifying them of your donation. For your privacy, the amount of the donation is not disclosed and all donations of $2.00 are fully tax-deductible.
In lieu of flowers, ‘Memorial Envelopes' are available from the Foundation Office, the Hospital Front Reception Desk, our Chaplains Office, or from your Funeral Director. Please phone the Foundation Office on 1300 034 357 if you would like a Memorial Envelope mailed to you.
Your Bequest Will Make a Difference
The Sydney Adventist Hospital Foundation relies heavily on the support and generosity of past patients, family and friends in the community. A bequest is a very special way of ‘Helping Us to Help Others’ so that we can improve the quality of life and care for our patients. Dependant on family situations, a bequest can be large or small but all are vital to support the future work of caring for body, mind and spirituality of our patients.

Tax-deductible Share Donations
From July 2007 the ATO has provided an easy way to gift small packages of listed shares to the Foundation and to gain a tax deduction of up to $5,000. Check with the ATO Website www.ato.gov.au and search "Gifts of Shares", or talk to your tax specialist. This is a way to support the San and dispose of that small share portfolio that you have put in your bottom draw, gain a tax-deductible receipt and above all help us care for our patients.
