Sydney Haematology & Oncology Clinic (SHOC), located opposite Hornsby Hospital, is a fully accredited hospital under ISO9001. It offers day-only chemotherapy and blood transfusion treatments, complementing the San’s cancer services. Specialist oncology nurses administer chemotherapy regimes, and there is a clinical oncology pharmacist located on-site.
Sydney Haematology & Oncology Clinic currently admits over 4,500 patients each year. Patient Orientation sessions are held each Tuesday for all new patients and their carers. The Clinical Trials Unit on-site gives patients the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of clinical trials where appropriate.
