 Profile:  Dr Craig Taylor graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney in 1997. He then undertook training in General Surgery at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle, and subsequently at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, which he completed in 2004. He gained further subspecialist qualifications in laparoscopic Upper Gastrointestinal and Obesity Surgery through Fellowship positions in Queensland, the U.S. and France. He is appointed to the Sydney Adventist Hospital and Hornsby Kuring-gai Hospital.
 
 Research:  Craig Taylor has presented and published a number of leading papers dealing with Laparoscopic Surgery. His main areas of interest are Laparoscopic Hernia Repair, and surgery for morbid obesity. He is committed to the teaching of laparoscopic techniques to residents and registrars.
