 Profile:  Dr Hogg has an area-wide appointment as a Staff Specialist and Clinical Lecturer in Gynaecologic Oncology for the Sydney West Area Health Service, based at Westmead Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is accredited as a sub-specialist in Gynaecological Oncology. His advanced training included attachments at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney, the West Australian Gynaecological Cancer Service in Perth and St Stephens Hospital in Budapest, Hungary. These appointments provided extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic and radical pelvic surgery for gynaecological disease. Dr Hogg is currently a senior investigator in the NHMRC funded trial examining the use of laparoscopic surgery for endometrial cancer. His clinical interests include treatment of borderline ovarian tumours and laparoscopic management of adnexal masses.
 
 Research:  Dr Hogg's research interests involve the biology of ovarian cancer and minimal access surgery for gynaecological malignancy.
