 Profile:  Dr Semmonds is a consultant specialist physician who completed advanced training in Geriatrics in 2006. She participates in the General Medicine roster at Sydney Adventist Hospital, and sees patients privately in rooms in the San Clinic. She also has inpatients at Lady Davidson Hospital who are undergoing rehabilitation. Dr Semmonds' areas of interest are in general geriatrics, delirium, dementia, falls, osteoporosis and avoiding polypharmacy.
 
 Research:  Dr Semmonds has undertaken research in the areas of nutrition, feeding after stroke and physical restraint use in Australia. She is currently completing a Masters Degree in Legal Medicine.
