 Profile:  Dr Flood graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Tasmania in 1995. After completion of Advanced Training in Cardiology, he was appointed Interventional Fellow in Cardiology at Prince of Wales Hospital, one of the most highly regarded interventional units in Australia. Entering private practice in 2004, Dr Flood is one of Sydney's busiest interventional Cardiologists. Widely recognised for his vast practical application of the skills and knowledge required of an interventional cardiologist, Dr Flood has successfully implanted thousands of coronary artery stents. He has an interest in a wide range of cardiac disorders, with particular interest in the diagnosis and management of chest pain, minimally invasive treatment of severe coronary artery disease, preventative cardiac care and echocardiography (including transoesophageal echocardiograms). Dr Flood has rooms at Westmead, Castle Hill, Blacktown and the Sydney Adventist Hospital, Wahroonga. As well as being a Consultant Cardiologist at the San, he also cares for inpatients at The Hills Private Hospital, Baulkham Hills.
