| Profile | : | Dr Gronow commenced a private Multidisciplinary Pain Centre in 1980 in the Sydney CBD. These services expanded to the commencement of an inpatient cognitive behavioural program at Ryde in 1989. In 1996 the Sydney Pain Management Centre moved to Parramatta where a full range of pain management services are provided. These include interventional therapies, medical services, individual and group CBT programs, injury management and vocational assessments. Each patient has an individual treatment program to meet their needs and requirements through patient involved planning sessions and case conferencing. Since 1999 Dr Gronow is Director of Multidisciplinary Pain Services at Westmead Hospital. He also consults at many private hospitals including Sydney Adventist Hospital and at Sydney Hospital. He is President of the Australian Pain Relief Association, and Past President of Australian Pain Society and Kuring-gai Medical Association. | |||
