| Profile | : | Dr Eikens graduated from University of Sydney with MB BS in 1964, and was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 1968. Between 1969 and 1973 he was a Research Fellow and Honorary Associate in Medicine (Cardiology) at Prince Henry Hospital, and from 1973 to 1975 as a Cardiology Fellow at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the USA. Between 1975 and 1978 he was Staff Cardiologist at the Prince Henry and Prince of Wales Hospitals. In 1978 he was involved in the establishment of the Cardiothoracic Unit at Sydney Adventist Hospital. He is currently a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in all aspects of invasive Cardiology, such as diagnostic Cardiac Catheterisation and Coronary Angiography, as well as clinical care of medical and surgical cardiovascular patients. | |||
