 Profile:  Dr Blumenthal was a Senior Registrar at Westmead Hospital for 2 years, and has subsequently been in private practice since 1984. He continues to be active in the training of registrars on the training scheme, and is active in Obstetrics.
 
 Research:  Dr Blumenthal has a keen interest in minimally invasive surgery such as operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. He is a member of SWAPS (advanced pelvic surgery group).
