 Profile:  Dr Gursel graduated from UNSW with Honours in 1992 and spent his junior years at Concord Repatriation Hospital. He commenced AOA accredited Orthopaedic training in the Sydney Northside Scheme with hospital attachments at Canberra, Racheael Forster, Royal Prince Alfred, Westmead Adults and Children's, The Mater and Sydney Adventist Hospital. He obtained is FRACS (Orthopaedics) in Melbourne in 2001. This was followed by the Arthoplasty Fellowship in Sydney, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, Royal United Hospital in Bath and Avon Orthopaedic Unit in Bristol, UK. He has a special interest in surgery of the hip and knee, primary and revison Arthoplasty. Dr Gursel currently has VMO appointments at Sydney Adventist Hospital and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. Dr Gurel is an Associaite of the group practice, Speciality Orthopaedics based in Parramatta.
