 Profile:  Dr Brent operates at San Day Surgery Hornsby, not Sydney Adventist Hospital. She graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney in 1992, and worked as the Dental Officer at Westmead Hospital and Western Sydney Area Health Service between 1992 and 1994. She was then Paediatric Dentistry Registrar at Westmead Dental Clinical School and New Children's Hospital Westmead from 1995 to 1997. She attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons in 1997 and was awarded her Master of Dental Science (Paediatric Dentistry) from University of Sydney, and gained Dental Board Registration as a Specialist Paediatric Dentist, in 1998. Since 1999 Dr Brent has been in private practice in Hornsby as a Specialist Paediatric Dentist, and since 2004 she has been an Honorary Dental Officer and Clinical Associate in Paediatric Dentistry at Westmead Centre for Oral Health, involved in dental student teaching sessions in both tertiary and post-graduate courses. Dr Brent has also been a Member of the Medical Advisory Committee for San Day Surgery Hornsby since 2006.
 
 Research:  Dr Brent has specific interest in Dentistry for infants, children and adolescents, and children with special needs, and in Molar-Incisor Hypomineralisation.
