Adventist Development Relief Agency (ADRA) support for Fiji Cyclone victims

On Thursday ADRA drove three trucks loaded full with 9 tonnes of food supplies to Rakiraki on the main island's north coast to give out food kits to 500 families.  Each kit has 8 * 170g tins of tuna, 8kg of rice, 4kg brown sugar, 4kg split peas and 3 * 375g breakfast biscuits.  It should be enough to last a family of five or six people for one week.  ADRA is working closely with the Fiji government and continues to plan further distribution of food, shelter and hygiene kits in the coming days and weeks.

There are regular updates of the ADRA blog, including a story from when the cyclone hit.  You can also follow them on Facebook for updates.
