To make your booking for your appointment with our midwife, please phone 02 9487 9908.
This appointment is to record your antenatal history, blood results and to prepare you for your hospital stay.
When you arrive at the Hospital, make yourself known to the receptionist in the front foyer. Please give your completed admission form to the receptionist who will then notify the Maternity Booking Midwife of your arrival.
We understand that you may have uncertainties and queries about the birth of your baby and we encourage you to ask questions and talk to those involved with your care.
You will receive a detailed booklet about your admission and stay at your maternity booking appointment including:
- General information regarding the maternity unit
- Prenatal classes and other education and exercise classes available
- When and how to contact the labour ward and unit
An estimate of costs and any “gaps” associated with your hospital stay will be sent to you. Please note if a patient has no private health insurance they are required to pay $1000 deposit when they book in and the balance prior to being admitted to have their baby at the Sydney Adventist Hospital.
