Welcome to Sydney Adventist Hospital’s HealthCare Outreach Program

We coordinate volunteer medical, nursing and allied health professionals from all over Australia to undertake medical and surgical procedures in developing countries, where men, women and children otherwise have restricted or no access to medical treatment.  

We operate three major projects:

• Operation Open Heart – cardiac surgery

• Reconstructive Program – burns reconstruction, orthopaedic & women’s health surgery

• Gift of Sight – ophthalmic (eye) surgery
