Ecumenical Memorial Church Service

This year 2009 date for the service was Sunday 3rd May at Seventh day Adventist church Wahroonga and the service was held in conjunction with Rev Max Boys from St Philips Anglican Church in South Turramurra
Each year the memorial service is held for families and friends of patients who received care and support at the San and provides the opportunity to come together in with music and prayer and light a candle in their loved ones memory.
The service is for all faiths and each year we join together with another church in a true Ecumenical service.
‘Run for life’ Fun Run/Walk, Sunday 25 October 2009
Sydney Adventist Hospital Foundation is holding it’s seventh annual “Run for Life” Fun run/walk on Sunday 25 October. With an 8.am.start, there will be a 10km & 5km run or 5km walk for individuals or team participants. The community run and scenic walk through local streets begins and ends in the Hospital grounds with a family barbecue.
Your fun run entry fees will help raise funds to support the San’s Intensive Care Unit which needs a new Continuous Renal Replacement therapy unit for their intensive care patients who are too ill to be moved to the Renal Dialysis Department.
Foundation Coffee Mornings
The Foundation holds regular coffee mornings to give our supporters information on various aspects of the hospital.

This year 2009 will be the 20th Anniversary of the San Foundation and over those years many committed volunteers have worked tirelessly and helped raise many millions of dollars for the benefit of the many different hospital departments, their patients and our community.
