For Our People
Sydney Adventist Hospital’s history of quality care spans more than 110 years and our reputation for caring and quality service is renowned. Since its establishment in 1903, the San has remained a not-for-profit institution, with profits made put back into the Hospital to ensure we can provide our community with the best care.
Working at the San provides many positive experiences. We like to think of this as “the San experience”; an experience best described as personal interactions that are consistently positive and knowledgeable. We offer employment opportunities in over 100 different vocations with one thing in common – a desire to care for others.
We provide a comprehensive education program supporting the needs of hospital staff as well as members of the wider community. Our San College of Education is a 'Registered Training Organisation' (RTO) that offers nationally recognised training packages, qualifications and courses.
If you are interested in rewarding experiences, meeting new people and sharing your skills, then our San Help Team Volunteers program may interest you. Our volunteers work in various areas throughout the hospital, and are a well-recognised feature of the exceptional care and service we provide.
