How to Apply
NSW Government Department of Health provides a centralised online application process for all new graduates. All new graduates must access the online application form at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/nursing/employment/recruit.asp .
As part of the application process new graduates will be asked to nominate eight (8) hospital preferences.
All applicants who nominate SAH as their first preference will be offered an interview.
Interviews
Once submitted, your on line application will be sent by NSW Health to the Hospital listed as your first preference and you will be contacted by the Area Health Service regarding an interview.
Interview questions will be based on the selection criteria and ANMC Competencies. Questions do not test clinical knowledge nor contain drug calculations. They are open-ended and seek to assess your knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of a newly graduated Registered Nurse.
