“As a unique institution where the philosophy of taking health and healing to the community underlines the work done here every day, we believe that members of the San team truly reflect our mission statement – ‘Christianity in Action – caring for the body, mind and spirit of our patients….’ 

Over the more than 100 year history of Sydney Adventist Hospital we have tried to continuously recognise, meet and plan ahead to service our local community’s needs. In the years since Sydney Adventist Hospital Foundation was formed in 1987 we have been lucky enough to do this with the support of civic-minded individuals who want to make a difference and who validate the wise words of Margaret Mead:

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

Everything we achieve here at the San we owe to the generosity of our donors and our team - it’s a pleasure and privilege to be assisted by donors who help us to build a better facility and enable us to continue to look after our community”.

The SAH Foundation aims to assist the Hospital achieve its mission statement:

Christianity in Action – Caring for the body, mind and spirit of our patients, colleagues, community and ourselves.

We will remain our community’s favourite private hospital.
