Visiting Hours

Visiting hours are designed to be convenient for your family and friends. Please ask your visitors to be considerate of your needs for treatment and rest during your recovery.

Ward visiting hours may vary slightly from ward to ward so please check with ward staff who will advise you if there are any variations to the standard visiting hours.

All wards have recommended rest periods, and ward staff will notify you as what these are. We ask that you advise your friends and relatives not to visit or call during these times.

General ward visiting hours (Levels 6 – 12):

10.30am - 1.00pm, 3.00pm - 8.00pm
Level 9: Please note that the rest period is between 12.30pm and 3.00pm.

If your family and friends are unable to visit you during our regular visiting hours, please let your Nursing Unit Manager know. Visiting hours will gladly be extended if your health permits. Please note that relatives are not permitted to stay with you overnight unless an extreme situation exists. The Hospital does offer onsite accommodation at Jacaranda Lodge, which may be available for family who have travelled to visit you.

The above times are all local time. Standard Sydney time is ten hours in advance of UTC/GMT.
