San Radiology

San Radiology has provided a high quality Radiology service to our community for four decades. Today, San Radiology is a world-class comprehensive diagnostic and interventional radiology service.

We perform more than 50,000 examinations a year, and we are staffed by a team of dedicated and experienced radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, nurses, secretaries and support staff.

San Radiology continually strives to be at the forefront of imaging innovation, boasting a suite of new generation imaging modalities.  This leading edge equipment and software supports our team to provide our patients and referring Doctors leading edge Imaging services.

Our Siemens Definition Dual Source CT Scanner (128 slices) is the fastest system on the market with the best temporal resolution currently available to enable us with highest quality imaging. The cardiac capabilities of the scanner allow coronary imaging at any heart rate without the need for beta-blockers. Other advantages include technological advancements for neurology, oncology and acute care patient diagnosis.

Our new cutting edge Digital Radiography (DR) room provides increased patient comfort and efficiency. Compared with usual general x-ray services our DR service provides proven superior image quality along with reduced patient dose

Our imaging technology also includes a 1.5 Tesla (high field), Medicare rebated short bore magnet. It’s open short bore along with our skilled and supportive team ensure that even claustrophobic patients will almost always be scanned without sedation. 

Our interventional service includes an extensive range of minimally invasive procedures.
