San Connect

SanConnect provides Sydney Adventist Hospital's Accredited Doctors with remote computer access to SAH clinical information and services. With SanConnect, San Accredited Specialists and General Practitioners can connect securely and with confidence to our hospital to gain access to relevant, current and historical information about their patients and information that assists with their practice.

SanConnect provides Doctors with secure access to:

  • Patient demographics
  • Admission details
• SAH current hospital admissions
• SAH theatre lists
• SAH case statistics
• San Pathology results
• San Radiology results
• The Hospital Intranet
• Specialist Rosters

The benefits of San Connect include:

• Improved access 24/7 to both patient clinical information & service provider information to support timely care in the diagnosis & treatment of your patients
• Convenience - AMOs can be virtually in any location where there is internet access and securely get results, patient details and other important clinical information 
• Access to varying levels of patient historical clinical data (depending on the in house system accessed by SanConnect) providing old test results as well as new, saving time and allowing for correlation of information
• Support for a collaborative approach to patient care; for example, EC doctors can call AMOs at home and both can see relevant clinical results equally as easily
• Support for Integrated Care – the utility provides a one stop shop for doctors; they can get all their information about a patient through one simple SAH interface.
