Accredited advanced trainee positions are offered in the following specialities:
• Emergency Medicine
• Orthopaedics
• Urology
• Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
• Neurology
• Medical Oncology.
These advanced trainees (Registrars) work closely with supervising consultants and contribute their expertise to the care of patients.
Most patients highly value the care they receive from registrars, however patients have the right to decline involvement in medical education.
