Dietary Definitions (as deemed by the Dietitians of the SAH)
Low fat - Soups are flagged as ‘low fat’ if they contain less than 10grams of total fat per serve. Main meals are flagged as ‘low fat’ if they contain less than 15grams of total fat per serve. Desserts are flagged as ‘low fat’ if they contain less than 5grams of total fat per serve.
Gluten free - the item and its ingredients are free from gluten containing cereals such as wheat, rye, barley, oats, triticale and millet.
Dairy free – the item and its ingredients are free from milk/dairy and all milk/dairy containing products.
Egg free – the item and its ingredients are free from eggs and all egg products.
Nut free – the item and its ingredients are free from nuts and all nut containing products.
Soy free – the item and its ingredients are free from soy and all soy containing products.
Vegan – the item and its ingredients are free from all animal products such as red meat, poultry, fish, eggs and dairy products.
