'Flash Mob' on San Front Lawn

The San is competing in the 2014 Medline Pink Glove Dance competition which promotes breast cancer awareness via a 90-second video. We would like to invite you to be involved a fun event for a great cause.

Movers and Shakers are needed for a 'Flash Mob' dance scene being filmed on the Hospital front lawn at 10.30am on Wednesday 23 July.

Only 10-15 seconds of footage will be needed, but rehearsal and several takes means that you will be required from 10.30am for approximately 45 minutes.

Scenes already filmed have included staff dancing - featuring pink surgical gloves - and will promote breast cancer awareness. The video shows in a fun way a patient’s journey from despair to hope to health.

To make this scene successful we need lots of dancers. A camera is being mounted on a high jib to catch the ‘flash mob’ with the Hospital as the visual backdrop.

Please share this invitation with your colleagues, family and friends who are welcome to come along, wear something pink and show their support. Pink gloves will be supplied but everyone is invited to wear their own pink props if they have them.

In the event of wet weather, signs will direct to where filming will take place.
