SAH Homemade Muesli

Homemade Muesli

1½ cups (250g) rolled oats

5 tablespoons wheat germ

3 tablespoons desiccated coconut

5 tablespoons of sultanas

5 tablespoons of dates, roughly chopped

5 tablespoons of dried apricots, roughly chopped

4 tablespoons of walnuts, roughly chopped

4 tablespoons of cashews, roughly chopped

2 tablespoons of slivered almonds

milk, Greek yoghurt, honey and berries, to garnish

 

Combine all ingredients in a  medium mixing bowl and mix together.

 

Serve with milk, a dollop of yoghurt, honey and a handful of berries.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Serving suggestion: Serve with low fat milk or yoghurt for a low GI breakfast
Storage: Keep in a dry airtight container in the refrigerator
