You are invited to celebrate 25 years of HealthCare Outreach

July 2011 marks the 25th anniversary of HealthCare Outreach. To celebrate this milestone, you are invited to “Art from the Heart” – a photographic exhibition and celebration of 25 years of transforming lives all across the world. The exhibition will showcase some of the most heart felt footage and inspiring images captured throughout the program’s history.

Novus Foundation raises funds for HealthCare Outreach

HealthCare Outreach was selected as a 2011 beneficiary of the Novus Foundation. For the second year running, the Novus Foundation is supporting HealthCare Outreach with vital funds to continue our work around the world.

The Novus Foundation Gala Dinner was held on 28th May 2011 with 600 guest in attendance in a black tie ball at Miramare Gardens in Terrey Hills. In excess of $160,000 was raised which will be shared and distributed to HealthCare Outreach and the 5 other beneficiaries that were selected.

"Friends of Nepal" Fundraising Dinner

On the 5th March, the Nepal Reconstructive program held its “Friends of Nepal” dinner and fundraiser, with $12,000 being raised for patient expenses and the surgical costs associated with the team’s work. A short documentary on the work undertaken in Nepal was also launched on the night.

HealthCare Outreach Program wins APHA Special Recognition Award for Community Involvement

The Special Recognition Award for Community Involvement was awarded for the San’s HealthCare Outreach at the Australian Private Hospital Association (APHA) / Baxter Gala Awards on Monday 18th October. This National Award recognises the long term commitment and excellence in service provision to international communities. The APHA/Baxter Awards for Quality & Excellence strive to stimulate, encourage and recognise the pursuit and achievement of excellence among its members.
